This Monte Carlo SS has been retrofitted with Dale Earnhardt aftermarket trim and looks very close to the original - it is a clean car. In 2002, Chevrolet partnered with Richard Childress Racing and Dale Earnhardt to produce a very limited number of Dale Earnhardt Signature Edition Monte Carlo SS. They produced 3,333 of these cars for a limited time. This car is one of those special, collectors cars, sporting a RCR body kit, spoiler, Intimidator Sticker, the #3, and more. The car is in such great condition, it looks like it just left the Chevrolet factory (you can see my reflection in the paint, it is so crisp). The Dale Earnhardt Edition is powered by GM's 3.8-liter 200hp V6 engine and is backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Standard options are dual-zone air conditioning, AM/FM radio with CD and cassette player along with radio data system, power steering, brakes, windows, locks and sliding sunroof. Sport suspension and 4-wheel anti-lock brakes with race-inspired front cooling ducts, aluminum alloy diamond-cut wheels, performance radial tires, electronic traction control, 6-way power front seats. This particular SS is special, being bought by a family in the automobile business at the Barrett-Jackson auction. It has been stored in a climate controlled facility and serviced impeccably.
