I'm sell this Dodge Ram 2500 4x4, has the reliable 5.9 Cummins 12 valve ENGINE. I acquired the truck with intentions on trouble shooting the electrical issue. Time too trouble shoot is my issue, being work isn't allowing me, truck has just been sitting here in my shop/yard. This truck starts right up an drives but in Limp mode wont lock into overdrive, due too either PCM or bad wiring or ground someplace. I have been reading for weeks. The electrical issues are while running the truck has no tachometer, Alternator wont charge, I had the alternator tested it tested good, also transmission wont lock into OD. All these issues pointed too the correct PCM that goes on the truck. I tried two used PCM,s still the same problem/issues. Leaning towards some wiring issue or bad ground. Engine starts right up, transmission goes into gear as it should, just a minor electrical issue which I haven't found, will make a good truck, I drove it home 5 miles ride good no rattles, power windows work just need a good cleaning an paint if you choose.
