Strong motor and tranny.No noises, misfire, smoking or slippage.4 wheel drive works.Tires and brakes are excellent.Passes NY State's safety inspection.It will not pass NY State emissions due to an illuminated check engine light.Code is for an oxygen sensor.I am not going to put money into this truck because there are no guarantees that the check engine light will not come on for some other reason.It also needs a driver door hinge.The door closes OK, but you kind of have to slam it.Anti-lock brake light comes on intermittently and when it comes on the "brake light" will also come on.Brakes feel fine and are not a problem, but the light will come on.Power steering lines are a little "weepy" at pump connection.No dripping, pooling or visible leak - just wetness.Body is OK but is a little weathered.The valance under the front bumper is slightly damaged.Probably due to a concrete parking lot barrier blockage.Heat works nicely.Velour interior is nice and could use a trip through the car wash.I drove this truck about 60 miles trying to get the check engine light to reset.Runs great, but the check engine light comes on.This truck goes to the highest bidder in "As Is" condition.No Reserve!No Buy It Now!Please Don't Ask!Bid with confidence and drive it home.The title is clean.Because this vehicle will not pass inspection ...New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. When a car is sold as “Parts Only’ or “Salvage” it must pass a NY State “Salvage Inspection”. This is done to keep rebuilt wrecks that are unsafe off the road – especially vehicles with frame damage or airbag deployment. My cars are rarely rebuildable wrecks and therefore will easily pass this strict inspection process when the problem that is advertised is corrected. There are about 10 to 15 NY State salvage inspection sites in NY State – 2 or 3 are on Long Island and there are a couple in NY City. Call me for further clarification. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy.
