1986 Honda CR

Rebuilt, Rebuildable & Reconstructed

Completely restored 1986 Cr500r, except motor. Engine runs but needs to be powder coated for a 100% restored condition. Only part not included is the exhaust which is hard to find OEM. I was going to go for the DG system and powder coat it black for an OEM look. EVERY Nut and bolt has been either replaced or cleaned and coated to preserve the OEM look, fit, and finish. Suspension has been completely rebuilt, all seals have been replaced, new brake pads and new front rotor. new tires and rims. All painted parts have been newly powder coated. The rims were custom cut to OEM tolerances at Buchanan's rim and spoke in California as DID doesn't carry the 18" rear in gold for the drum brake setup anymore, this is why you will almost never see hondas from this era with the gold wheels. Just the wheels were $1500. Front and rear fenders are NOS honda parts. I have a new chain and sprocket set included, again OEM parts. I am not making any $ here, just want to make room for a new project. You will not find a nicer 1986 CR500, guaranteed. I have tons of man hours in this project and I have kept a keen eye for detail.
