Vehicle Detail

This bike is in great shape. I bought this bike from the original owner, who lives about 10 miles from me. He was very meticulous and kept all his records. I have the original sales documents, the bike setup documents, the owners manual for the bike and the hondaline fairing, many service records, etc..It has everything on it that it should, and everything works as it should. It runs great and the charge system works. TIres are about 5 years old and have low miles on them. It's smooth as glass and the pipes are very nice (and no holes or cracks underneath). The tank is very nearly perfect and is clean inside (and never "coated" inside either). There are not dents, chips, or scrapes on the tank. The sides plates are gorgeous and have all pins and emblems. I cleaned and rebalanced the carbs myself and it idles beautifully at 1,100- 1200 rpm. The reason I bought this bike was to have a classic that would cruise on the highway. When I saw the fairing, I couldn't believe my eyes. This is an original Hondaline fairing, bought by the original owner when he purchased the bike (I have original invoice- attached), OEM painted to match, and there is not a mark on it. The fairing has the owners manual and original key also. It also has the hard lockable pouch on the right and the soft leather cover on the left. One of the snaps came off the pouch on the left, but that could be re-snapped, which I would do if I was keeping the bike. Now it's your job. I took lots of pictures so you can see the condition of the bike. Again, feel free to look at the reviews left by the folks that bought my old bikes. This is my final bike for sale. Although, if work slows down a bit, I may get another. BUT I acquired these bikes to keep, ride, and admire. Not to sell. If for some reason, you don't love the fairing like I do, you could completely return it to the base configuration because the original owner kept the original pieces including the mirrors, front "Honda" plate, turn signals, fork ears, nuts/bolts and the headlight trim rings. I took a picture of them. You can remove the fairing and sell it for a pretty penny. In the condition it's in, and with ALL the correct mounting hardware, I suspect it could sell north of 750 dollars itself. Google search it...you may never see another, much less in this shape. I also have the backrest and sissy bar, and a luggage rack for the bike...they go with the bike too. I took them off because I like the look of the original grab bar. So, enjoy as is, or put on backrest, or remove fairing and restore the base configuration and sell the fairing. Your choice. But this is a very nice CB900 and runs and charges as it should. You are responsible for all shipping costs and shipping arrangements. I am willing to hold the bike 4 weeks to allow you to arrange shipping but I must be fully paid within 7 days of auction close. GaryOn Dec-02-17 at 18:57:37 PST, seller added the following information: I added a copy of the original invoice for the fairing. It was added two month after the original owner purchased the bike. Looks like the price was $446 and labor was free...2 hrs labor. It's gorgeous. I also have several original brochures the owner had in his files from his shopping trips. I love this old stuff.
