No reserve auction for a 1972 Chevy Caprice. #'s matching. Zero rust. Factory triple black car. Factory ac car. 106,xxx original miles. Purchased new in Arkansas and has been here its whole life. Garage kept. The old paint still shines like new. The heat works and the fan is strong. The original 400 sbc runs great and the trans shifts smooth. The brakes work great. The drivetrain is all original except for the Edelbrock 4 barrel carb and breather. A brand new radiator was installed a couple of years ago. It doesn't have the original fan shroud. I put a new battery on it, new spark plugs and some brand new white walls a few months ago. I put about 1000 miles on those tires this summer. It has been my daily driver. I put all new weather stripping all the way around this summer- doors, roof rails, jams, trunk, the whole kit. They're not even broke in yet. It's got a brand new vinyl top with a French seam- installed by a pro and done right. The interior was all redone about a year ago too. Seats- front and back, new seat foam- front and back, door panels, rear panels, leather wrapped dash, headliner, carpet, rear deck, everything was touched and is like new. It was done by a pro and it is all tight. It has the Comfort Grip steering wheel- this was a factory option on the 1970-72 Caprice as well as other GM models. The grain on the wheel matches the oem shifter knob. All the interior and exterior trim and pieces are there and original to the vehicle. Elderly owned. It has never been molested. This is a solid car and everything works. It rides great. The carb was recently tuned and the timing is set perfectly. It doesn't have any issues and can be driven home from here.
