Up for sale is my NON-SMOKING 2005 XLR Personal Pleasure Vehicle (I'm the second owner). All of my vehicles are meticulously maintained. I absolutely love the style and drive of this vehicle. I'm getting ready for my next fun purchase and moving into the last year of the 2009 XLR-V series and this fine vehicle needs to find a home first. This vehicle is priced right for a Cadillac Limited Production Sporty Hardtop Roadster. I have taken almost all exceptions out of this auction for you. I have performed the 100K service early for you. Ed Shults Cadillac of Jamestown, NY performs all work on this vehicle. This sleek XLR drives and brakes smooth & straight and has a great sound! Performs like a leopard on a leash! Extra hard color to find too…BLUE STEEL! The following service items were recently done: New Bridgestone Run Flat Tires (4) installed at 93,116 miles (2,843 miles on them as of this listing) New Front GM OEM Rotors & Brakes 05/15 Synthetic Oil change 09/16 Coolant & AC change 09/16 Serpentine Belts (2) Drive and A/C 09/16 Replaced Gaskets/Seals for Timing Cover, Valve Cover & Water Pump and any worn hoses. A new Water Pump was also installed at the same time 09/16 Cadillac Replaced Hardtop/Trunk Module 05/17Pennsylvania Inspected to 05/2018! Also, if you are familiar with early XLR's (2004-2006), you know that the front headlight amber driving and turn signal lights melted the inside of the lens and look terrible for a high-end sports car. Not So with this XLR! Both headlight units as indicated in the four pictures, have been replaced ($1950 investment if buying new in 01/2016)! They look fantastic! NO Burnt or Melted lenses anywhere! Other Stuff: Please keep in mind that this is a twelve year old vehicle. It comes with minimal/normal wear n tear that you might expect with a vehicle this age. It has been very well cared for! Always garage stored and placed in locked storage from December to April. There are 2 very minor cosmetic areas that are pictured that were from the previous owner that I have left as-is. 1) Small scratch area behind lower driver’s front tire, 2) driver’s door has a 4" vertical mark by edge. (#2 you can barely see 4' away). All glass is A1. Cadillac has replaced the inside trunk closing switch, the truck lid opening switch as well as the main hardtop module as updates. I have represented this vehicle to the best of my ability so there are no surprises for you. I wouldn't want any if I were buying a vehicle.
