Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a rare 1979 Cadillac LeCabriolet convertible. This is one of 100 coupes that was expertly and professionally converted to a genuine convertible by the coachbuilder company Hess & Eisenhardt in 1979. Please call me at 717-736-3535 if you would like to make an offer on this rare car. If I don't answer, please leave a message and I will return your call. This car RUNS and DRIVES GREAT! The 425 V8 engine is smooth, quiet and powerful. The transmission shifts perfect. There are no leaks in the engine compartment. The PA title shows the car has 22,000 original miles, but I think the wear on the interior indicates the car probably has 122,000 miles on it. If I were to keep the Cadillac, I would get it painted. The car has was repainted by the previous owner and it was not a great job and it is getting old. The rear plastic bumper fillers have been replaced but they were never painted. The paint has some scratches and chips. There are some door dings and one small dent directly behind the passenger door which can be seen in the last photo. There is NO RUST on the body of the car but the floor has rusted in one spot and the previous owner put a piece of sheet metal over the area. That is the only area where there is rust. Please see photos. The white leather interior of this LeCabriolet shows some wear, especially the driver's seat which actually has some holes in it. The other seats have some cracking. The door panels, while redone and presentable, are not done correctly. The dash has a crack in it. The convertible top has a headliner and it is nice. The white convertible top looks fairly new but it has two rips in it, one on each side of the top at the "C" pillar. The plastic rear window is clear. The convertible top works great. It goes up and down at the touch of a button. All of the power windows work. The power door locks work. The power seats work. The heat works great but the a/c does not work. The radio does not work. I have owned this Cadillac for about 1 1/2 years and I never thought I would sell it, but something has come up where I would now like to sell it as soon as possible. I think I have it priced to sell. Please call me if you want to make an offer on it. If you email me a best offer, please include your phone number. My name is Corey and my cell phone number is 717-736-3535
