Selling my 2003 Lexus SC430 It is one of the earlier and more desirable ones (70 hour hand-built quality, sportier 5-speed transmission with O/D, genuine hand stitched Spanish leather, Blonde Birdseye Maple wood).The steering is computer controlled, speed sensing progressive power assisted rack-and-pinion.LED tail lamps, turn signals are integrated into side mirrors and HID headlamps are standard along with heated outside mirrors. Always garaged. No interior fading. No rust or corrosion underneath. This car is a superb example of a well-kept, responsibly owned and maintained Luxury grand-touring convertible. I bought it a nine months ago locally and addressed the only things I could find that it needed: 4 new premium Michelin Super Sport tires and the sportier optional wheel covers, new trunk lift support struts, had the windows tinted within the Texas legal range, new premium wipers, and new radio antenna (original had stopped going up/down due to age). Just had it serviced by Sewell Lexus in Dallas, TX (one of the most reputable Lexus dealers/service centers in the nation). As per the Lexus recommended mileage service, it now has a new timing belt (due to the low mileage it still had the original in great condition but it needed replacing based on the age), and a new water pump and pulleys (all part of the same 'wear-items' service package as they recommended). It is now ready for years of worry free driving. Needs nothing but regular oil changes for the next 5-10 years! It is as close to a new car as a 2003 can be. Spotless under the hood and no leaks of any kind.It is essentially a new SC430 in appearance and condition.Has only been touched by Lexus/Toyota dealers. I want this beauty go to someone who can and will drive it with care and enjoy it often! After owning it for almost a year, I have decided it is just not my style. I was content with my previous older luxury car but didn't realize it until after trying something I thought I would like more. As the Carfax shows, this car has a frequent regular service history.No rust or corrosion anywhere. It would seem to me that it was garaged during winter by the 2 previous owners, and was rarely driven as reflected by the very low mileage and excellent paint. I have put a $1,000 set of new premium tires and $1,400 worth of Lexus recommended parts and service into it in the past 3 months as the receipt pictures show.Therefore, the price is NOT negotiable.You will not find another with this low of mileage and in this fantastic, well maintained and cared for condition. I have put it on the market for those who know what it is and can appreciate a well-kept, hand-built luxury convertible car whose earlier models are known to be superior to the later ones. I must re-emphasize how well-kept this car is, the condition is 9 out of 10 all things considered. The price may seem higher than the others you've looked at but the value for it is fully reflected in the condition it is in, the care it has been given, the service it has recently had (and all the peace of mind that knowing this will provide you), and the ability to just enjoying driving it without worry, without wondering what it needs (nothing!), and owning a unique and hand-built car that was Lexus's first attempt at a convertible sporty car (it is over-built and very solid for that reason- one of the reasons this car is so well loved by those who are informed on this model).The MSRP on this car was $62,525! The value of this car is stable because these older first-run models are hard to find in original, un-modified, well-kept, low-mileage condition. Price if firm, I will not haggle.
