Vehicle Detail

This is a two owner (I'm the second owner and have only had the car for 4 months) 2004 BMW 760 LI with 75,400 original miles. The car is 1 of 444 produced in 2004 and had a retail sticker price of $122,555.00 when new. This was BMW's top of the line car in 2004 and came with the 6.0L 48 valve / 4 cam 438HP/444TQ V12 and 6 speed automatic transmission. This particular car came with every option available on the 7 series that year (see the window sticker in image 13). The original owner added a high-tech (for the time) dealer installed K40 front and rear radar detection system that I have yet to fiddle with. the car even has a back seat refrigerator! The car is in the most desirable color combination, black sapphire with natural brown leather. The car has always been serviced at BMW of North Houston, where it was purchased new, and I have all service records for the car. The previous owner cared very well for the car and it was always garaged. It has also been garaged kept, under a car cover, while in my ownership. The car comes with three keys and all owners manuals.Full disclosure of imperfections: The BMW runs and operates perfect in every way with the exception of the A/C. It won't cool below 73 degrees. According to BMW of North Houston, the issue will cost $1500 (SEE UPDATE BELOW) to fix. The car has the usual interior front kick panel wear you would expect on a BMW. There is also a light stain on the passenger seat that is about 6" in diameter. There is curb rash on a few of the rims. There is a small dent by the 760 LI badge on the deck lid and there is a small scratch on the driver's rear quarter panel by the edge of the back door. There are the usual rock chips on the nose of the car. Nothing excessive. Most of these things the casual observer would never notice. The car shows as nice as the images represent. The current mileage is 75,438 miles. That is likely to increase as I like to drive the car a couple days a week. *11/10/2017 UPDATE* I located the estimate document for the A/C. My number was off. The low estimate is $1961.74. The high estimate is $5020.17. The service writer and the mechanic agreed that the repair was more likely the lower estimate of $1961.74, after further discussion. They were impressed with the condition of the car and the mechanicals. A copy of the estimate is in image 21. I apologize for not remembering the estimate numbers and the delay in locating the estimate. I lowered the price to $8000 to make up for the inconvenience. If you have any questions, please message me through eBay. Winning bidder must make a $500 deposit, via PayPal, within 24 hours of the auction ending. Final payment must be made within 72 hours of auction end. I would prefer for the car to be picked up within 7 days of auction end. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. The car is for sale in the US only. In addition, I don't want to arrange shipping. If you buy the car, you can fly in and drive home or you're more than welcome to make your own arrangements for shipping. Thanks for looking and best of luck.
