Vehicle Detail
YOU ARE BIDDING ON TWO CARS. BOTH 1970 CHALLENGER R/T'S. BOTH U CODE 440 MAGNUM, AUTOMATIC. You would look long and hard to find two sequentially VIN'ed 1970 Challenger R/T's that started life as 440 Magnum cars. This would be a great husband and wife, father and son, brother or sister project. Both cars have clean titles. Both cars have original dash VIN's and all body numbers match. Read individual descriptions below. Please contact me with any and all questions. These have been a part of the Graveyard Carz inventory for many years and we've discussed them on the show in the past. JS23U0B411030: This car needs quarters, floors, wheel houses (inner and outer), main floor and is mostly a shell. It does come with the original dash board and frame but is stripped of components. Also has original drivers door with VIN label and used passengers door. Comes with usable fenders and hood but that's all. No interior, trim, engine or transmission. Will be a roller with correct K member and rear axle assembly. Does NOT have fender tag or broadcast sheet. Evidence on the car proves it was FC7 Plum Crazy, Black vinyl Top and Black longitudinal stripe. There were a pair of houndstooth seats in the car when I bought it but they are long gone. No way to prove interior trim. JS23U0B411031: Much more complete car than the 030. Still has the original numbers matching transmission. Original K member and rear axle assembly. Also have broadcast sheet but no fender tag. This was a nicely optioned car in TX9 Black, Black vinyl top, black body side moldings, black leather bucket seat interior, 6 way seat and 15X7 rallye wheels. All of the sheetmetal is either on the car or I have good donor pieces. Some trim and glass missing. Donor correct seats are included. Original dash assembly is there but missing components. I have a date coded F440HP long block that comes with it. Other that what I've mentioned, what you see is what you get. I think this car will also need trunk floor, quarters, floors, wheel houses, etc. Frame rails are very nice. You can either buy these cars with this auction and take them home for your projects or I will restore them for you. If interested, write me with any questions and prices to restore.
