My Sunday driving 1997 Mustang GT convertible. I bought it at an auction in 2009 and have owned it for 8 years. It has a beautiful red paint job that has gotten me numerous compliments. The family and I love taking this car out with the top down when the weather is nice but my daughter just turned 16 and I need to buy her a car so sadly this one must go. The car is lowered with 20 inch rims and has good Sumitomo tires installed. It has a small chip in the paint as shown but no dents at all. The car runs perfectly and sounds awesome. I pride myself on my perfect Ebay rating and always describe exactly what I am selling so below you will find whats good and what needs some fixing. I am starting the bid low with no reserve, the starting price is worth it for the engine alone. Pics are fresh from the car wash so please don’t mind the water on the side windows, they are crystal clear. All gauges work perfectly. Whats been replaced; · Engine was replaced with a Spartan engine in June of 2014 and has ~20K miles on it · Center force clutch was installed 5 years ago · New covertible top replaced 5 years ago. No tears or holes · New adjustable shocks · Cold air induction · Kenwood radio with CD player · Tinted Windows What needs work; · Air conditioning doesn’t work, never has and I never tried to fix it · Passenger seat doesn’t lean forward when lever is pulled to let someone in back · Both tailpipes need reattached. As shown in picture they both came off where they connect to the catalytic converter but I have both tail pipes · Convertible top works great but latch on drivers side needs to be tightened up · Drivers side rear window sometimes needs a little tug when pushing button to raise it · RIMS are sweet but rear two are starting to flake inside. They work but would look nicer if redone. · Front end is sqeaky when turning. Drives perfect but squeaky maybe just needs lube? · When idling in neutral sometimes here a clicking sound but if you depress clutch ¼-1/2 inch its silent so cable may need adjusting
