Factory RS car per original trim tag. Factory Gold/ Gold deluxe appearance group. Engine decoded as a "JA" suffix 1964 Chevelle 283 with 4 speed Saginaw transmission and hurst shifter out of a later car. Does Not Run! Originally this was a 327 cu in car. Someone started a race car project years ago and installed a fiberglass hood and front fenders. The rest of the body is very straight and solid. Excellent door to quarter panel and trunk gaps. Very straight body panels with exception of a few minor dents. Solid original floors, trunk needs replaced. Both lower quarters have rust. Passenger door bottom skin has some sub par rust repairs. Glass is in great shape except for some rub marks on drivers door window and a few chips in the windshield. Look at the parts closely, what you see is what you get, no more, no less. Rust on body exterior is surface, no pitting, comes off with sandpaper. Its been sitting for 30+ years. Solid car and an excellent candidate for restoration!
