It has been the best Car for the money, that I have ever owned. It is fuel efficient, and a very powerful mid sized luxury sedan. I drive it daily for local business, however it will need the Automatic transmission repaired at some time. It has a clutch solenoid that needs replacing. The car took me and my new Wife to Florida on our Honeymoon in May and has drove perfectly until last month when the AT check light flashed, the engine light came on too but both have now disappeared? The engine runs well and the transmission is changing gears well. The interior is a little different to some of the other G35's ive seen, and makes me wonder if it was an upgrade? It has the normal cracks on the leather on the drivers seat, which is normal for these G35's, but passenger seat and back seats are in very good condition. The dash has a small crack from the heat of the sun I presume. The electrics i.e the power sunroof, power Leather seats, heated seats, power windows etc, all work flawlessly. Ice cold A/C and a great sounding sound system with a six disc (in dash) changer. The car has it owners manual, first aid kit and two sets of keys. The car drives like a BMW/Mercedes/Lexus smooth but powerful and fuel efficient. It does have a higher mileage, but then its been used and maintained well by me and the past owner, a Gentleman from the Nashville area who used it as an executive commuter car, so its highway miles. The tires have plenty of tread on them too, not new, I'd say about 50% although I am no expert. All in all, this G35 looks superb once polished up, as most black cars do, but even better with the contrasting tinted windows and fantastic Infiniti stock wheels. The engine is running well, with no knocks or smoke. Transmission issue: What it did from time to time is this: it was slow to change gears at low speed, it did change gear ok but jerked into gear from 1st to 2nd, but when it warmed up, it went away. The AT check light no longer stays on, and I drive it daily. I drive it very lightly and always have. I took it to an Transmission shop and the guy told me that it may need a clutch solenoid in the future, but said it may drive another 100,000 miles 'as is' before needing fixing or then again, it may need fixing soon. It also may have been a false reading, since I park on a slight incline, which may have put some stress on the transmission. The transmission guy said start using the parking brake, as it may relieve some of the tension. So I did and the transmission issue (including the warning lights have disappeared) seems to have gone away for now. Their is a slight wobble on the steering wheel, which comes and goes, which reminds me of another car I had, that had a caliper that used to stick now and then. I am not a mechanic so I am not too sure. It has some scratches, a few small dents, a little fading from normal oxidization and may have had some light damage in the past, to the front and rear bumpers and looks to have had the paint touched up. It mustn't have been too bad since it still has the original headlights on it, which are oxidized too, and probably need a headlamp restore kit. I have described this Car to the best of my knowledge, and may have missed something. If so, I will add it to the description later. It has a clear title Buy it with the knowledge that you may eventually have to do some work on the transmission or even replace it at some time (it probably wont need replacing, but I have to say this CMA, just in case...Murphy's Law). I do drive it daily, and the transmission has never slipped on me, but just to be clear, its sold as an as-is fixer upper. My loss is your gain. Please message me for any other questions.
