Up for bids and sold to the highest bidder with no reserve is this 1975 Honda CB550k Four. Appears original with clear Ohio title, notarized and ready to go. 21k original miles. Starts right up with electric or kick start. New battery. Engine sounds very good and runs well. Carburetors recently cleaned and adjusted. Occasionally the petcock leaks on the outside so will need a rubber seal. Shifts through the gears fine with no unusual sounds. Overall the bike presents well from a distance for driver quality. It is original and has surface rust, scratches and wear associated with a 40 year old original machine that has been used. Would benefit from a detail cleaning. The seat has black tape and needs a new cover but I've ridden worse. The gas tank has light fade on top, a few small dents, misc scratches and the stripe on right side is newer. The inside is very usable with only light surface rust. The machine still has the original exhaust. There a no rust holes but does have rash on the right side as seen. All of the gauges work. All of the lights work. Headlight on high low and tail light with brake light. The turn signals work but are slow to flash at times. The turn signal buzzer still works. The only thing that appears in- op is the horn. The right control on/off switch with start button works but is incorrect for the year. The points ignition has been replaced to a Dyna S electronic ignition for increased reliability which is a nice upgrade. The chrome cleaned up to driver quality with light pitting but has some chrome loss on top of turn signal stems. The machine does have surface rust throughout. It sat unused for a period of time. The tires hold air and I've ridden on them but they should probably be replaced. This machine should be considered a running riding light project that is mostly original. I've spent a lot of time to describe what I know about the bike and its overall condition. It may have problems not known to me. It may need work in the future as is associated with a machine of this age. Please ask any questions.
