Originally purchased the car with the intention of fully restoring it to its former glory. I bought the car from someone who had restored three other 2002s. Being a new to this, I bought a car that was already in great shape. During the engine rebuilt back in 2010, the following work was completed: Valve cover gasket (remove and replace Incl rotor)Ignition timing adjustmentBreaker ignition (minor): replace spark plugs, inspect/replace distributor cap and rotor. I finally decided to continue to the rebuild and in 2015 replaced the transmission and installed a weber 32/36 carburetor. The interior needs work as the back side of the driver and passenger seats need to be replaced. The A/C unit is there, but needs to be fixed should you decide to keep it. The car runs great, but it is just sitting in the garage collecting dust. It is finally time to pass it on to someone that can dedicate more time to it given that it's not too far off from being great. I'm happy to answer any questions or send additional pictures.
