Vehicle Detail
My Dream Car For Sale Rare and highly sought-after 2003 model year Ford Mustang GT. Purchased by myself, brand new, from the Clearwater Ford dealership (invoices, business cards, etc., all present). History of this vehicle: This car was a "dream purchase" of mine, however, I only drove it some 6,811 miles before I left Florida for the UK. Trusting the car would be cared for by family, it was left standing in the sun for 7 years. After I returned to Florida, I collected the car by a trailer and put it into storage in my garage. It has sat there ever since, becoming the proverbial "project car." Sadly, realization slowly knocked at my door and I now comprehend that I simply do not have the spare time I need to devote to getting it running and enjoying the enthralling blasts I once had! My car is not anything other than an honest sale and, as you can see, I am disclosing as much information as possible. The mileage is low because it hasn’t been driven since December 2002. It’s never been in an accident or had an insurance claim. The only reason I am selling it is to recoup garage space. What is wrong with this car? It turns over once or twice but it doesn’t start; I suspect because the gasoline is too old. It requires new parts and a new paint job to make it sparkle. Among the new parts needed, naturally because of age or disuse, are the following:4 x TiresBatteryRubber trim for rear window (cosmetic issue due to heat but not necessary)Replacement of fluidsIt also ran over a plastic bucket that fell from the open bed of a pickup I was behind on I-275. This creased the underside of the front spoiler. I have tried to push the plastic back but, sadly, I am not strong enough to do so by hand. (see photo)Also, when rewiring my house, I put my foot through the garage ceiling drywall causing the ding you can see in one of the photos, on the side rear passenger panel near the fuel filler cap. I am also including a few nice extras like the trunk cargo net, the Haynes repair manual (1994 thru 2004), the 2003 Mustang brochure, and all the paperwork I have on the vehicle. The car also has anti-theft wheel lugs and both key fobs are still in my possession and looking/working like new. What You Should Know I want a smooth transaction as I'm sure you do, therefore, I am asking the following of bidders: Your feedback should be established (not new) and not contain any negative non-payment comments. Please do not place an unrealistic bid "by mistake" to dissuade other bidders, as I will delete and block any such bidding or similar practices at my own discretion. (Genuine mistakes corrected straight away are obviously understandable, so don't worry) Please be fully aware that my car does not run and will need to be towed! Finally, as I am concerned about being scammed, you must agree to:Pay a 10% deposit (cashiers check/cash) within 48 hours of auction win/close (as well as the $10 Paypal deposit which was a mistake on my part in the listing)Follow through with remaining balance and collection of vehicle within 7 days of auction win/closeFunds must be cleared before car is collected - you cannot collect my car until funds are satisfied and settled (cleared—to prevent any clawback/dispute)Thank you for your interest in my Mustang GT. I wish you success in bidding on it.
