This is the type of car that has been captivating the minds of young and old hot rodders across the country for many years, it commands everyone's attention no matter where she goes. If this car could talk I'm sure it would have an amazing story to tell but unfortunately one of the long time owners has passed on forcing the sale of this vehicle. This Merc is an unmolested all steal body right down to the fender skirts that was restored approximately 30 years ago. Then it was stored in a Florida museum until 2007 when it was sold and has been garaged ever since. It seems to be a mystery, as to why the car was stored in a museum all those years, did someone famous own it !? Maybe the new owner can solve the mystery that was left untold. The drive train consist of a stock 302 Ford engine, 4 barrel carburetor with headers, dual exhaust, C4 automatic transmission and a Ford 9 inch rear end making it perfect for cruising the streets. It also comes with plenty of nostalgic styling such as costume air brushing under the hood, hand painted pin stripping, hand etched glass, dual spot lights, chrome side pipes and head light covers, adjustable rear air-ride shocks with an on-board compressor that can be set to a desired ride height for that famous drop tail look.
