PHS documented 1965 Pontiac GTO 389 Tri-power 4-speed. I've had this car for about 15 years and purchased it disassembled and missing some parts. Over the years i have acquired the correct parts for it and put it back together. Car runs and drives and have driven it to a few cruise nights and have gotten lots of thumbs up. Car has original interior which is pretty nice for a 52 year old car but i have replaced the carpet plus the headliner has also been done. Engine was rebuilt before i got it and is an original 65 GTO motor. I have completely gone through the front suspension with new bushings, ball joints and rubbers. All the parts have been bead blasted and painted. I have also replaced the clutch assembly. This is an original California car but has a small amount of rust in the right lower rear quarter panel, left b-pillar and in the trunk (seen in pics). None of this rust will require any panel replacement but just repair. The rest of the car like the floors, fenders, dash , around the windows, roof, package tray frame ect. are exceptional. This car is also exceptionally straight and the only really thing this car needs is a nice paint job. Please ask all questions before bidding and thanks for looking.
