BARN FIND This 1983 Suzuki GS-650 shafty has been sitting in my barn since 1989. I am the original owner and gave up riding when my youngest child was born 28 years ago. It is a complete bike with only 11,500 miles on it. Never dropped, but there is a very small dent in the tank (see pics) from where I backed my boat into it (If you’re really picky, I have an undented replacement tank and key which goes with the bike. See pics). It has a Vetter Eclipse half fairing, KG passenger luggage rack/back rest and a set of Eclipse soft luggage including tank bag and saddlebags. Since it was stored in an unheated barn, there is surface rust on most chrome parts and corrosion on aluminum pieces (see pics). It was put away wet, so the carbs will need to be cleaned or rebuilt and the tank and fuel lines need to be flushed. Original tires have sidewall cracks but hold air. The bike is a great candidate for easy restoration. It’s very unlikely that you will find an example in better condition with such low mileage. Clean title. Item is pickup only in Tolland, CT.
