1998 Volkswagen Jetta TDI. One year only color - Porcelian Blue. AHU 1.9l Turbo Diesel Motor Manual 5 speed ( .658 5th gear conversion ) 195,000 miles. Koni - Fully adjustable coil overs I bought this car July of 2014 out of Denver - needing an injection pump. at 160,000 miles - i replaced / upgraded to the following. Giles modified rebuilt injection pump ( $1000 ) Brand new injector bodies with new balance .205 nozzles. T3 / T4 Hybrid Turbo Techtonics Downpipe - 2 1/2 straight pipe .658 5th gear conversion ( lower rpm's in 5th gear ) Vr6 clutch / flywheel combination. Malone stage 2 Chip Tuning. Timing belt / water pump done at this time. In the last year i have replaced: Brand new front brake rotors / pads ( crossdrilled, this was one 2 months ago) New front control arms - bushings - ball joints Just last week - brand new steering rack with new tie rod ends - fresh $160 Alignment yesterday. Brand new ac condenser , drier - ac refill. Blows so cold you need to turn it down. Driver side front wheel bearing. Brand new OEM VW Glass factory headlights ( a month ago ) Glx tinted tail lights. New windshield ( some of the interior pics might show the old cracked windshield ) Body: The paint presents nice- last few pics are after a good bath , detail for local car shows ( those rims are NOT included ) Front driver fender - got bumped at stop light by high school girl - caught edge of front bumper as well. I have an OEM factory fender in Porcelian blue - just have NOT installed it. The clear coat on the roof is peeling. Only RUST is on the passenger front rocker panel - see pictures - it was on list of stuff to do this winter. Rear bumper got a parking lot white mark on the edge a few weeks ago ( thanks white car driver ) The clear coat on the driver side rear bumper is bubbled - almost like it got HOT ? , its weird but still looks ok ) The pictures i took yesterday - are pictures of it unwashed , waxed - it shines up VERY nice when you take your time. Interior: PLEASE NOTE THE MOMO BENNINGTON STEERING WHEEL IS NOT INCLUDED ( stock Mk3 steering wheel will be installed ) This steering wheel was in my Harlequin and its not included with the car. Removed passenger airbag and installed a upper glove box. When i got this car it had tan interior. I swapped out the carpet to black , swapped out the door panels - and i added Heated Party Seats ( yes they work ) The door panels - are black - i forgot to swap out the inner door pulls to black so i just left them and the window cranks , but i have black ones ) Headliner is saggin a bit up front by sun visors. This car has manual windows - power sunroof - central locking works - i have iremote keyless fob that also works. The rims are factory Vw 14" fliers - with 195-60-14 tires that are in in good shape. The rims have some blemishes and i think missing a center cap or two. I have a basement full of stupid expensive old school rims ( that could be for sale separate ) I installed a CURT trailer hitch - it is wired up properly and comes out of the trunk to plug into a trailer. I have a Rabbit Pick up truck trailer that i haul / ship motors with and haul stuff with - never pulled anything stupid with it - just the trailer full of car parts. Overall: I love this car - my kids are mad at me for trying to sell it. I haul so much stuff i am going to a Mk4 Tdi Wagon. This car is reliable , dependable and FUN to drive. I average 40mpg mixed use. When on highway doing 65mpg i get 50MPG. It has power when you need it but still gets awesome fuel mileage. I would hop in and go anywhere with this car. Heat / ac / heated seats / Kenwood Cd player with custom USB plug in the dash. Newer tires , cruise control , fresh alignment , new windshield. I honestly can not believe i am making this ad. Extras: I have all sorts of spare parts - extra stuff - i am not going to mention as to not confuse potential buyers. The Porcelain blue fender is included.
