Up for sale is a 1972 Porsche 914. This car came to me from a friend in Kentucky. I have started to repair and replace some of the parts. I am out of time, and as Ned Stark has said. Winter is coming. I have too many projects going. This is a fine car. Great engine. I got it started, haven't driven it yet. Rear breaks are locked from sitting. The Porsche 914 has it's rust spots. The battery tray area has a rust hole as to be expected. The rear trunk floor has a rust hole near the edge. The floors were fiberglassed over. No rust under the car. A metal strap was installed under the car. The front bumper and rubber trim has been cleaned and repainted. The rear tires are not too bad. They all hold air. I got the car without keys. So it has a new ignition. Keys work the trunk, and doors. The front release cable is giving me trouble but can easily be addressed with the right attention. I have a few parts as well as a manual to go along with the vehicle. More than I got. The targa top has one broken hinge. It will lock down, but to be sure, replace it. The car was painted white. It was red. The seats have a few rips and tears, it did not come with carpet . The horn does not work. Missing a clip on the inside I assume. Not sure about the breaks. The car will have to be trailered. New wipers but I have not seen them work yet. The enging was tuned and timed, cap rotor and plugs. Not a bad car for someone who has the time. They handle like its on rails. No returns, all sales are final.
