Up for auction is a very nice AMC Gremlin X. If you have been looking for a Gremlin, this is the one you want. It is all original, never been wrecked, never any rust, original low mileage car! It is equipped with the original 4.2L straight 6 cylinder with auto trans, the Gremlin X package, and A/C that blows very cold! I have recently installed a new interstate battery & HEI distributor ($299.00) to get rid of the old early style troublesome ford ignition and it runs perfect. The car runs and drives great in town or down the highway at 70 mph. The only bad things are the passenger side sun visor is missing and the wiper knob is also missing. The car was repainted in 2011 only because the original paint had a few chips and was lightly faded (See the last photo). It also had the Gremlin X decals in white, but we installed black decals to match "Grem" off the Cars 2 movie. . We had some custom eyeballs made for the windshield to make it look like "Grem". The eyes have a self adhesive backing from a commercial sign company that is re-usable so you can take them on and off. This is my wife's car, and we are selling it only because she is ready for something different. Please ask any and all questions.
