Vehicle Detail

Selling my original TSX- one of last 200 made by Meriden for USA before closing. Original bike in excellent condition. Starts right up. Check out my youtube video. Original tires, paint, keys, toolkit. Not rebuilt- Its only original once! Runs good. No disappointments. Started and ridden every few weeks to keep everything lubed, but not far because of original tires ( in good condition). Kept in dehumidified garage. Should be in a collection but if you put on new tires, you can ride safely. Can also call me at 404 845 4713. Michael. https://youtu.be/Ev6uqbte2CM This model was designed by Triumph Motorcycles America in an attempt to produce a model that would be popular with U.S. riders. Only 371 of these bikes were built and 200 were shipped to the US with 100 kept in UK and the remaining 71 sold round the world. The TSX was offered in Gypsy Red or Black with about 1/3 of them in Black. It featured a factory custom look with a stepped seat and a 16" rear wheel on a lowered chassis. The engine was offset to accommodate this change. The black coated engine has polished fins and had internal improvements such as improved crankshaft machining. Other improvements over stock T140s included Paoli Shocks, Brembo Brake units and Morris Mag wheels. Another major upgrade to these final Meriden Bonnies was electric starting which works very well. There is also a kickstarter on this bike which not all TSXs had. The Gypsy Red finish is outstanding and the gold pinstriping was done by hand. The only significant blemish noted on this bike is a small chip in the paint on the rear fender and a small piece of chrome flaked on right front fork cover. The TSX is regarded as one of the best Bonnevilles ever made. The men and women of the Meriden plant were dedicated to building quality machines and the TSX is a great example of a well built machine. The improvements that were put into this bike made it a great handling bike to ride dry or in the wet, and the electric start works well. This is an investment quality vehicle and are extremely rare in this condition. This particular example is collector quality with very low miles. Everything is still original as to when it was originally delivered to the 1st owner in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. It still has the Avon Speedmaster (front) and Roadrunner (rear) tyres in place..
