Thanks for looking. You are looking at a 1989 "Sport" model truck, pre SS454 truck. I believe 5400 were made and the "Sport" package was body color grill and bumpers, small SS mirrors, chrome SS wheels, the 5.7 L 350 engine, and something with the rear end. I bought this truck in April of 2016, it had been sitting since summer of 2012. I replaced the fuel tank sending unit and pump, put on a new water pump, plug wires(some were chewed by a rodent), put in a new radiator(it had a crack in plastic), a new alternator, and a set of new tires. I have driven it about 8000 miles since I have owned it and originally thought of putting a 454 into it for a SS clone but why bother, it runs great, it runs strong enough. The odometer reads 069500 but it does not work. I do not know why as cable is still hooked to trans. I also do not know how many true miles are on the truck but it is tight over rough roads and the engine as you see it is exactly how I got it, no grease or oil on it. I am going to guess the true miles to be around 150000. The body is near excellent and has NO RUST anywhere. Has chips and small dings and scratches and could use a repaint if you want it better. Seat has a rip at each side and needs redo, it is dry and damage was done from me alone getting in and out as I am a heavy individual. Rubber mat is great, headliner is sagging, windshield was new but now has a rock chip, door panels could use re-dye, dash is good but missing the two center plastic vents. AC does not blow cold and needs a recharge. Compressor does not come on but is hooked up. This truck runs great all day long and I would drive it anywhere! Currently registered until April 2018 and I have a clean title in my name.
