Selling my 2002 Porsche Boxster S with tiptronic transmission. Bought this after the convertible top leaked and shorted out the alarm module. I spent over $3000 diagnosing, replacing the module, programming it, and replacing the key fob from Porsche (I have the receipts). The car runs and drives great now, but there is a tiptronic warning light (Tiptronic Emergency Run) that the mechanic said is most likely caused due to the fluid needing changed or topped off. The paint is in good condition apart from a few scratches/nicks/typical road usage. There's some tape residue on the right side of the car that I still haven't gotten around to removing after the car was covered when it leaked - you'll probably see it in the picture. To summarize it: The goods: Runs great! Only 112,000 miles Just inspected last month Brand new Duralast Gold battery Brand new tires in the rear, very good tires in the front Ice cold a/c Clean title in hand Super fun to drive! The bads: Tiptronic Emergency Run light Convertible top may still leak? Hood/Trunk switch in the interior does not work, but the release on the key fob works - no idea why, but haven't tried troubleshooting it. Bose radio needs code but I don't have it - can probably be obtained using the radio serial number but I haven't tried. The rear window of the convertible top is no longer clear - might be able to clean it? Missing the Porsche emblem on the left rear center cap Rear trunk hydraulics don't keep the lid open I would love to keep this car as it's so much fun to drive, but I really have no use for it and it's just taking up space in my garage.
