1972 International Scout II – NO RESERVE - This vehicle has been sitting in a garage for the last 12 years. I took a chance on it and bought it from the prior owner. The vehicle is now running and driving. Brakes are functional but need to be replaced. Four-wheel drive is also functional and lock out hubs are working. The prior owner replaced the original V8 345 c.i. engine with an International V8 392 c.i. engine. So.. it has plenty of H.P. I replaced the gas tank, new edelbrock 4bbl carb, fuel pump, plugs, wires, rebuilt distributor, fuel lines, oil/fluids, and other misc. parts. Interior is fair but the front buckets need new covers or upholstery. The odometer maximum is 99,999 miles. It is currently reading 15802 miles so it has rolled over at least once or twice. There is no way of knowing. This would make a pretty cool ride if you are willing to put in the time on it. Body is pretty solid. Shipping is buyer’s responsibility. It costs time and money to run a vehicle on ebay. Thanks for looking.I've had questions about rust and floor pans. See pics of frame. There is rust but frame is solid. I pulled back the rubber flooring cover on the passenger side and there is definitely rust on the floor pan but it appears solid (see pic). On the Driver side floor pan there is a small area that has rusted through (see pic). There is also rust in several places where the body attaches to the frame. Overall though the body rust is minimal for a car this age. I dropped the starting bid and relisted.
