A five speed transmission, power steering and full time 4 wheel drive with low range and a centre locking differential allows this truck to comfortably and safely navigate treacherous and steep terrain. Sold with a clean Pennsylvania title. The truck was thoroughly road tested after restoration and importation. We can say that those miles were very comfortable and a fun driving experience! Drives straight and true at speed. Engine is quick and powerful. No power-train issues to be addressed. All seals in good condition with no leaks. The 200tdi is huge improvement over the previous generation Land Rover power plants and is the newest generation engine available for an imported Defender. We don't originate Defenders that we restore from the U.K. as most U.K. units are rustbuckets. This is Defender originated from the central region of Italy around Florence.
