up for bid is a one owner, custom checker marathon, 6cyl 3 speed manual. odo reads 35k miles, car has been lowered 4" front 3" rear, runs and drives great, roof and wheels were painted custom root beer metallic, the rest of the car was just prepped and clear coated to keep the original look, the floor pans were patched at some point in its life. not a perfect patchwork but they are solid and secure. the car was built to be a driver, not a trailer queen, she has some imperfections. the carb is a little quirky when she's cold. she like's to warm up a few minutes before cruising. but she's the only checker you'll see at the car shows. keep in mind the car is 50 years old and drives like it, she's not perfect, it was not restored to be perfect, it was cleaned up and made into a nice driver, please understand that before you bid. I had 100% feedback for over 10 years until a buyer bought a 50 year old car and expected it to drive like brand new thanks and happy bidding. clean title in hand
