If you have been looking to add a beautiful CB450 to your collection that you want to ride every Sunday; you have found the right bike. This bike went through a total frame off restoration last fall and has been very well sorted to run as good as it looks. Frame was stripped and repainted with black urethane. Wheel rims are new and relaced with new correct original zinc spokes. New tubes and tires (Bridgestone Accolades) have the same tread design as the original tires. Seat stripped repainted and reupholstered with correct cover. Gauges are correct, completely restored and work perfectly. All polished aluminum parts ie: brake plates engine covers etc. have been clear coated with clear Dupont urethane. This eliminates re-polishing; just wax them once a year to maintain their shine. Engine had original 6500 miles, so it was completely inspected but didn't require a rebuild just new gaskets and seals after tear down. Tank was sealed inside with Caswells clear two-part epoxy, primered and painted in a Pearl Candy Apple red. Correct tank decals are cleared over to protect. No corners were cut on this restoration, I have restored many bikes over the years this is one of my best. All fasteners were addressed and NOS parts were used where needed. The chrome is excellent on this bike. New fork tubes, seals, and new rubber gaiters were used. I always install tapered roller bearings in the head stock on my restorations. New swing arm bushing and new wheel bearings were used. This is one very fine Honda! You won't be disappointed! Bikes doesn't leak anything, starts and drives perfectly, stops, shifts and turns just like a new CB450. The engine cam end covers have been chrome plated. NOS front fender and complete exhaust system all with the correct CB450 imprints. It also has a sealed battery. I used the slightly lower European style handle bars for a more comfortable ride. This a a 98% perfect restoration. I like foam grips which are the only item that is not correct. I have logged a little over 500 miles since the restoration and is very well sorted, it is ready to ride anywhere with the utmost confidence. It is quick and fun to drive. You won't find a nicer CB450 anywhere. Clear Florida title in my name.
