Nice, driver quality,1960 Jaguar MK2. Pearl Grey with Red interior. Four speed with overdrive. Chrome wire wheels. All tools, jack and books. Coombs style rear skirts. Very well maintained. Excellent highway cruiser. 66K miles. Matching numbers with JDHT Originality Certificate. Have owned the Jag for eight years and covered 10K during that time. Work completed on the car includes: · New brake rotors and pads. New shocks. New tires. New hubs. 56K miles. · Replace flexible steering coupler. 56K mikes · Replace front indicator lights. Re-ground headlights. 56K miles. · Replace lower ball joints. 56K miles. · Install stainless steel exhaust system. 56K miles. · Replace ignition wires, plugs and dist. cap. 60K miles. · New carpets and wind lacing. Refinish dash wood. New door seals. Refresh interior. Rebuilt speedo and tach. 60K miles. · Rebuild parking brake mechanism, new pads. 63K miles. · Replace LP power steering hoses. 63K miles. · Adjust cam/valve clearances (re-shim). Re-seal cam covers. 63K miles. · Replace front parking light assemblies. 64K miles. · Replace fuel pump and filter. 64K miles. · New fan belt. Fresh brake fluid. 65K miles. All fluids have been kept up to date. Engine oil/filter changed annually (20-50 Castrol). The car was re-painted in about 1980 and the finish is still in good condition. There is some road rash, but nothing serious. It has been stored indoors for the last 30+ years and not driven in winters. Original owners took UK delivery and it has factory Fog Rangers. UK registry plate is from Heritage Certificate. Extra parts included with sale: · Original, non-louvered bonnet, complete with all chrome. · Original skirts. · Original air cleaner system. · Rebuilt brake master cylinder (spare). · New brake booster (spare). The Jag is available for inspection and I would encourage anyone interested to physically inspect the car. I have enjoyed owning this Jag, but need to down size.
