Up for sale is my 2003 BMW 540I. It is what I consider the Ultimate version save for the M5 with the best color combination and options. The combination of grey on black with 6 speed manual gearbox and Navigation is quite had to find. Check out cars with these options on Autotrader. They are crazy money.Even more rare is the fact that everything works. The Nav system works. The CD changer works. The headlight levelers work. The abs pump works. Sunroof, seat motors, etc... you get the idea. This 2003 BMW 540I with manual transmission has the M-Tech option package. M badges everywhere, sport seats, sport steering wheel, short shifter, sport suspension, special wheels, black headliner, black trim outside. It truly is a special car. I have the owners manuals, and two keys. I even have the unused key pouch. It has brand new Federal RS-RR tires, new battery, and new brake pads. It drives like it should, with a big V8 and rear wheel drive its a very satisfying car to drive. The good:Everything works. Cold AC, Hot heat. Starts and drives great. I just drove it from Los Angeles to Austin TX without a single issue. Clutch replaced when i bought the car at 130k. Alternator, water pump, radiator, and front control arms all replaced in the last two years. The Takata airbag recall has been completed at the dealer and the steering wheel bag has been replaced under that recall. The not so good:Its still a 14 year old car so it does have some oil leaks from the valve covers. I have the gaskets in the trunk but haven't had time to get it done but its not that bad really. The tires are brand new (100 miles) and super grippy but a bit noisy. If you are looking for a super quiet ride you may want to swap them out for some all season tires. Google them. Great tires but loud tread design. I like driving on what are basically autocross tires so it doesn't bother me, in fact I have them on two cars. Two small stone chips in windshield, a few small chips in bumpers as shown in the photos. The rear trunk carpeting is included, I just removed it to take a photo of the spare tire.
