Hello I am selling my 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. Originally i purchased to restore. found something else and lost interest in it. A few things i did to drive it around until i was ready to tear it down is brand new tires( less than 500 miles on them),repaired heat riser, new front shocks, replaced leaking rear wheel cylinders, changed a couple of steel brakelines, tune up, and oil change. Also has new headliner. Not the smoothest running at the moment. It does start and drive but it needs work. When in park the whole car shakes a bit until you put it in gear then it calms down a little. I've been told it could be the transmission or a carb issue. Im really not sure, didnt really care because my original plan was to tear it down to frame and upgrade motor, tranny, driveshaft and rear. Odometer shows 97362 i cant confirm or deny the odometer hadnt flip and its 197362. Previous owner assured me it never flipped but we all know how that goes,lol. Frame is solid. Some typical surface rust but no rot. Body does have some areas that need attention for instance over the doors and rear windows and corners of the truck and clearcoat is flaking off the trunk luckily thats the only place that is happening. probably poor prep work. Also has the Rally rims, 4 inch fiberglass cowl hood, and has i have a car cover that comes with it ( not an exact custom fit but it covers nicely). i guess with a little attention could become a daily driver but i would really like to see someone with a passion and desire to restore this car to its original beauty or even a Pro street build. These old G-bodies are getting harder and harder to find and make for great resto projects.
