Hesitantly decided to sell my Volvo. Overall the car runs very good but it has an oil and transmission leak that I have decided not to repair as I have too many cars to handle. Volvo has told me its an engine seal for the oil leak and a cooler line on the transmission. Besides that issue, the other things that do not function properly on the car are : 1- Drivers door actuator is bad so that door lock doesn't work with the remote . 2- CD player reads error. 3- Drivers power seat will only adjust for the first minute you open the door, Volvo has told me the seat module needs to be reprogrammed, once you lock and re-open the door it works again, passenger seat operates normally. Other than those issues everything else work fine. No check engine light or any other system issues and the timing belt and water pump was replaced at Volvo about 30K miles ago. The body is in good condition with only normal scratches and dings, no dents or bad paint. The minor accident that shows didn't actually do damage to speak off, someone was backing out of a parking spot and her bumper went against the rear wheel well molding on my car and but no damage to this really, just maybe a scratch on the plastic molding. The interior leather is decent, stitching on passenger seat is separating. The tires are Michelins and I had them installed about a year ago, probably about 10K miles on them. Brakes are about 2 years old and work fine. I replaced the transfer case/angle gear for the AWD at Volvo last summer for about $1900 , I can get the receipt from the dealer if I can't find it. I purchased the car about 3 years from my Aunt. Its been a reliable Volvo that never let me down, I just don't have the space to keep it any longer. The car is perfectly driveable if you have a license plate for it, I would say I average about 1 quart of oil a month driving about 800 miles/month and Volvo refills the trans fluid every oil change about 5000 miles and its been like this for about 2 years.
