This is a 1987 SS Aero coupe up for auction I just got this car so Im not that familiar with it. Its got a decent running 305ho motor, T-tops, new tires, and is a solid car for restoration. it will need paint- someone tried to do some painting on it.(Not good), some minimal rust repair (frame is solid), some interior work (headliner gone, and shows age of a car that sat for long periods) most weather seals are cracked and in bad shape (t-tops, doors etc.) mileage reads 27k ( was told original ???). restored these are 10 to 15k cars as there were only 6052 made in 87... I just don't have the time to give the car the attention it needs, it would be a great long term project or can be restored while being driven. I have a lot of pictures I can e-mail or come take a look, you can drive it up on ramps to inspect the under carriage, you can lot drive it, and hear it run. I know this needs a good deal of work to be a show piece, but I don’t see any major (expensive) work required. It is a good solid start to have a really nice car – plus its drivable as it sits. I have 2 doors to go with car and an extra set of 4 ss rims. For sale locally so I reserve the right to end auction if there are no bids and its sells locally.
