Up for sale for the first time Since 1970 is this all original California blue plate 1970 Datsun 240z Series 1 survivor. This is a 7 day no reserve sold to the highest bidder auction . This car is still in its original paint since factory being a very desirable Mexican orange .This is one of the most original series ones you will come across. due to the fact that every thing from the paint to the interior to all of its engine and trans even having its original rims haven't been touched since factory. This Japanese classics gets tons of looks every where it goes and is a blast to drive in and out of season . Car operates so smooth and drives excellent with lots of power.now for the details and specs on this beauty. engine/transmission/clutch the 2.4L in this 240z runs an drives great engine is very sound an is matching # gets great mpg as well also has its orig su carbs for you originality lovers like me. It also is factory orig 4-speed manual gearbox is exc shifts into all gears with ease with no grinds or pop outs of any kind. The clutch is great as well though it is a bit on the old side but slave an master cyl has been replaced an drives great . body/paint the body on this 240z is great for its age all orig body panels and pretty solid. being these body's are known for rust but not this one does have two rust spots on body ( as seen in pics below )but nothing not fixable though however ther is also minor dents on the body but very minor an fixable as well ( seen in pics below ) was never repainted or anything replaced orig burnt/Mexican orange paint is showing age but it never looked so good. having so much patina of which you can see suits it very well or would make a great candidate for restore. Either or she would look beautiful recommended to be left orig since its been 47 years . interior the interior in this 240z is nice and clean an original . Carpet was redone once an stile in good condition. Few things can be done to make it great what ever defects there is are pictured below such as a couple of cracks in dash and minor were to headliner but then again is 47 years old so mostly original miscellaneous this Datsun does suffer from one rust hole in the floor (shown in pics below ) all gauges work in 240z except temperature an oil pressure. The windshield wipers work am/fm radio works also both windows roll up an down but one of the handles are stripped. All glass front and back Is orig as well an still in pretty good shape. Tires are good but can yous a set of tires brakes are great though ...... the light switch is stuck in the on possession so head an tail lights are always on until its corrected an the orig air conditioning unit stile works not an a/c unit just blower motor an stile works an blows fresh air also comes with old orig stuff such as orig spare some of the tool kit the jack. As well as tons of manuals & records dating back to 1970. ( shown in pics below) Also The orig keys exc....
