Here is chance to own an original condition, low miles, unmodified, very good condition classic beetle. The engine was rebuilt approximately 40,000 miles ago. Runs excellent, no oil burn. It has been stored for last 12 years in a clean garage and only started up monthly to circulate oil. The paint is original and there is no rust anywhere, except occasional surface rust from missing paint areas. The side glass looks all original, but the front and rear windshields may have been replaced at some time. Original 6 volt system with new battery. I tried to show how clean the rocker panels and under body are in the pictures. Also note the floor boards look like new and are original. This was a Colorado car for most of its' life. The headliner and vinyl upholstery were redone to match original probably 20 years ago. This car is complete with spare tire, original tire jack, and tool kit. The negative: It has 2 dents in the rear bumper and about an inch plus area of chrome flake on rear bumper. It has very minor door ding on passenger side and multiple small dings on passenger front fender and rear driver side fender. There is minor stone caused spider on windshield(about half inch size). The brakes work fine, but probably need new shoes and/or drums. There is a small dent on chrome front hood lift handle and small dent in hood below the handle(can not be seen unless hood up). Take home message: This is an almost rust free classic and easy restore or....clay bar it, wax it, and drive it as is. And yes, I have 50 additional detailed photos if requested.
