This vehicle needs both engine and transmission work. The transmission went out on it a couple of years ago and I’ve had it parked ever since with the intention of rebuilding it, but my list of projects is growing too large. The engine starts (with a jump start), but is in the late stages of a valve-clatter death-rattle so it will need to be rebuilt or replaced. The mileage is at 285,000. I put at least 100,000 on it myself over the last 10-15 years. The interior needs cleaning but is in good condition except for the headliner, which is junk. It has electric windows and locks, and has an aftermarket stereo, but the original one is included. The tires (215/75/R15) have almost all the tread, since they were nearly new when the transmission went out. It’s also got a mounted Reese hitch on it. The body has a few dings and some rust at the bottom door edges, but is in good shape overall. This would be great as a project vehicle, or as a parts-car for a Jeep owner. Because of the bad transmission, buyer will need to trailer or tow this vehicle from Saint James, Missouri.
