Hello. I am offering my chevy pickup for sale. please note i have updated the listing info.. I cancelled the previous listing to set a reserve price, which is $4500. Features: 350 V8. Stock, except for a TBI spacer. 5 speed manual tranny with hurst shifter. Nice tight throws, unlike the stock crapola. Clutch feels like new. 4WD. short bed, regular cab. 140,600 original miles. swapped the original W/T grille, headlights & bumper with a 454SS front treatment. Turns heads! Cloth bench from a GMC pickup. 1 little tear on the side but otherwise great shape. Much better than the original vinyl bench. Towing package/brake controller. I have not operated the brake controller, it may or may not work. 17” steel wheels from GMT800 series. new parts since I purchased: Front windshield AC compressor Master slave cylinder for clutch. Its kinda noisy at idle. Cant hear it driving. Rebuilt 14 bolt semi-float rear axle with 11” drums, not the stock 10 bolt. see pic for difference...This axle can handle a big block. installed professionally. Rear shocks All new Front & rear brakes Gas tank, fuel pump, & rear fuel lines Rear brake lines AlternatorI have all repair paperwork. Some issues: There is some body damage on the passenger side bed in front of the rear wheel. there are also some door dings & paint chips, typical wear on an older vehicle, Does not hurt curb appeal unless you want a show truck. Early stages of rust in the under carriage & bottom of doors. was previously undercoated but its coming undone. hard to see the door rust. should be undercoated before winter. There is no quarter panel rust. So she shows well. The 4WD works. Shifts in & out of 4WD no problem. Front axle is a little bit noisy when engaged. quiets back down in 2WD. a front bearing is also starting a squeak a little bit.there is a minor exhaust rattle noise that occurs during hard acceleration. it does not happen cruising or under normal acceleration. its been there since i purchased her & has not effected driveability.There is a very small oil leak between the transfer case & the drive shaft. Interior dash is cracked. Glovebox is damaged. difficult to close properly. & cigarette tray does not retract into dash. Interior light is defective. The radio stinks. but has an amp & big speaker behind the seat. So you can play the 1 station the radio tunes into very loud. The reverse light sensor in inside the tranny broke, so the reverse light turns on with a switch. No spare tire. I will include a 17 inch wheel but it needs a replacement tire. The truck was repainted red. the original “hawaiian orchid” color can be seen in the engine compartment, door jambs, & bed under the bedliner.i have done the best i can to describe known issues. the truck is sold "as is, where is" bottom line Overall my truck runs & drives very smooth. Ever since the new axle & shocks it feels like a cadillac. Great truck for a LS or big block swap. Needs nothing to run & drive. Best benefit of all…I get A LOT of compliments from the public. Nice truck! Shows very well when detailed. I will also include a truck cover, a set of new snowchains, & a hydroboost system if you want to upgrade the master cylinder to hydroboost.one of a kind truck! This is the only short bed pickup on the market with a stick shift, 350, the SS nose, 4WD, & the 14 bolt rear axle. i promise you will enjoy this truck as much as i do. get it while you can!
