Vehicle Detail
1973 Dodge Dart Sport, Project car. Originally a slant 6 car. The car now has a 440 with dual Edelbrock 500 carbs. (the carbs need to be rebuilt) . The engine was rebuilt with a Lunati cam, It runs strong, no ticks, no smoke, no knocks. Pour a little gas in the carb, close the choke fires right up. In fact I was offered $3,000 just for the drivetrain. The headers are Hooker Supercomp but the person who built it beat them in to clear the steering column.. The paint is pealing of the motor, the chrome vales covers and air cleaners and starting to pit and rust. The transmission is a 727 Troqueflite with a Cheetah Manual valvebody & a B&M shifter, the rearend is an 8 3/4 rearThe front brakes have been upgraded from drum to disc, still manual brakes. Brand new brakes all around. New gas tank. Air Shocks, Weld drag Lites, frame connectors, VERY loud exhaust. The torsion bars are the stock slant 6 they need to be replaced the car sits too low.The Radiator is also the original and I think should be updated because I would think it would get hot. It doesn't leak and seems to be good. Missing wiper motor. The interior is decent the front seats are not original. The body was done by an amateur. He did put new half quarters and floor pans in. It was an amateur job. The outer wheel well on the drivers side has a spot of rot in it it. Not huge. The car does have bondo, the bondo around the hood scoop and it's cracking. The spoiler is a Mopar spoiler. The car is a 44 Massachusetts car, I have the build sheet, original bill of sale, dealer paperwork from the original owner, cam card, paperwork for the transmission, pictures of the work and a clear Mass. Title.I did not build the car, I got it as a trade towards another car. I am not a dealer or flipper. Please feel free to contact me with questions. The car needs work. I have yard driven it and had no problems but have not driven it on the road.. I have driven it up on my trailer but I would recommend winching it up with the torque convertor you have to give it gas to get up the ramps and the car launches pretty good. For around $1,500-$2,000 worth of work it could be a cruise car but NOT a show car.I will be out of town July 8thIt is listed locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early.
