1966 Mustang Convertible Power steering, power topAll metal work is complete including replacing full floor pan, frame rails, exterior panels (photo without carper to show work). This vehicle is 100% rust free. Panels are aligned and body lines straight. Doors close perfect. Underside of floor is covered in U-Pol Raptor bed liner. This looks like factory undercoating, but is better at repelling heat and noise. One dent in right side of cowl has been mostly removed and could be finished with a small amount of filler. Interior and exterior of vehicle covered in PPG epoxy Primer to keep vehicle from surface rust. It is ready for primer surface and block sanding and of course paint.Mechanicals: 289 engine 2bbl. rebuilt to factory specifications. Runs great, starts every time. It was completed to look like it did in ’66. C4 fully rebuilt shifts great. Power steering vehicle with all new ball joints, tie rod ends, rear end gone through and re-sealed. All new exhaust, master cylinder and break lines. New fuel tank sending unit and rear wiring harness.Interior: Seats recovered, new carpet cut but not glued in along rockers in case you want to change colors. Dash completely disassembled, sanded and refinished. All gages work, all glass in the vehicle and in great shape. Has front and rear seat belts (fronts are faded and need dying to match interior) New door panels in box (photo) not installed. Spare tire jack included. Black steering wheel is what is being sold with vehicleTop: frame is in good shape, one bow is a bit rusty, could be used as is, but have a perfect spare that goes with the sale. All weather strips for top included, new hydraulic lines included, pump motor works. All chrome around top is included and all hardware to complete top in well labeled packages (photo). Runs, starts and drives well enough to drive home, but with no top cover may want to transport or tow.
