For sale: 1969 VW Beetle. Wonderful & sharp car!!! We are selling because my wife is 23 weeks pregnant-- so we are selling it to help with the baby! We are excited, newlyweds that is expecting our first child- so unfortunately, the Beetle has to go. Before we thought about selling it, I was offered $7500 for this car this spring. I am listing this car with NO RESERVE. Someone will be VERY PLEASED, as we have much more invested in it. At that time, I had no interest in selling it. Car has too much to list, but will do my best to describe it to the best of my ability. VERY Sharp looking car. Very solid car, must see to appreciate. Eye-turner. A lot of money has gone into the car! -Centerline wheels with newer tires -Newer interior, including seats, carpet, dash & headliner! -Newer Battery -One-piece conversion windows! -Newer cal-look window seals -Grant GT sport steering wheel -VERY SOLID - Floors in excellent condition! -Everything works (besides the horn isn't wired to steering wheel) -Newer gas tank -When it was painted (several years ago, has a few small touch-ups) all the holes for chrome -trim/bumpers/etc were professionally patched over, giving it a very slick look! -Motor has been rebuilt, has a 1600cc dual port with double barrel weber carburetor and power pulley -Just serviced, new oil change, valves, fan belt- ready for the road! -Clear SC title. *Keep in mind, this is a 48 year old, VINTAGE VW. It is NOT a perfect car. It's not a $35,000 restoration. It's a GOOD Bug and will treat you right, if you maintain it and keep it serviced.
