I try to describe the positives & negatives of this vehicle accurately in this description. Check out this 1995 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight LSS sedan. I acquired this vehicle in NW Ohio and have driven it about 100 miles since acquiring it. Incredible low mileage, there are even records of each gas fill-up in recent years that collaborate the mileage, it has barely been driven. I am listing this vehicle as a Mechanic Special because it will randomly stall out - it has always fired right back up, but I don't know why it is doing this. Other than that, this is a good vehicle. Rare opportunity to own such a low mileage vehicle. This car is equipped with options like power windows, power locks, power mirrors, cruise control, power leather seating, automatic climate control, keyless entry, outside thermostat. It has an automatic transmission that shifts great. Mechanically, this Olds is in good condition (aside from the stalling as previously mentioned). The engine runs smooth and sounds great. Occasionally while driving, the engine just stalls out. It does it while idling and while driving. Sometimes it rarely does it at all and you can drive a long time without it happening, sometimes it happens quickly after another. I can't figure any reasons to it. It has always fired right back up for me without issue. Research suggests it may be a failing PCM or some other potential electrical issue, I don't know though and am selling it as-is. The transmission shifts good and goes through all the gears. The brakes stop the car straight and well. This car is equipped with factory cruise control and it works like it should. While driving the suspension components appears to be in overall good shape, with no noticeable clunking or noises. The steering appears to be in good working condition and the car drives straight. Exhaust is good and quiet The engine sounds great and starts right up. I have not noticed any leaks on the ground where this Oldsmobile. While driving, the transmission shifts smooth and goes into all gears. There is a very slight vibration above 45 MPH but otherwise this car drives very smooth, feels like a tire slightly out of balance. The tires are all matching 225/60/16 Sailun Tires. All have some deep tread remaining. The climate control works and this Oldsmobile wherever you want it to (vents, defroster, etc), and all power settings. The heat works great but the A/C is inoperative at this time -- it sounds like the A/C compressor clicks on when it is engaged so it may just need to be refilled (I did not try to refill it). This Olds is equipped with an AM/FM/Cassette/CD - radio & cassette works great, haven't tested the CD player.. The ABS and Traction Control lights remain lit while driving. The check engine light turns on occasionally, usually after it stalls, but my equipment doesn't read this vehicle. All of the gauges read properly and there are no abnormal readings. This car has power windows and locks that work well including keyless entry, except the left rear power window is inoperative. Overall, this vehicle drives very good and, aside from the stalling issue, I wouldn't have an issue driving it anywhere I needed to go. I drove it about 70 miles in one trip without any issues but if you are going a very far distance you may want to consider a trailer or transporter. Cosmetically -- this van is in good condition.. There is a little rust inside the doors but really isn't that bad. The two significant areas of cosmetic damage was some scratches/light dents on the passenger side that have been touched up and like almost every white GM vehicle from the 1990s, the paint is starting to flake off in places. I've tried to capture the imperfections in the high resolution pictures below. All of the doors open and close without problems. The windshield and the rest of the glass is in good condition. The leather interior is excellent condition, consistent with light usage. The seats & floors are in great shape. The headliner is in clean condition. The spare tire is like brand new. This is a good opportunity find an extremely low mileage car that once you figure out the minor issue should have years of service left in it. I have tried my best to represent this vehicle accurately and to the best of my abilities. Earning and keeping a 100% positive feedback rating is very important to me! I purchase most of my vehicles as trade-ins from new car dealerships as traded. I test drive each vehicle on the expressway and around town for at least 20 miles, often over 100 miles, and use that experience to represent the vehicle to you on eBay. This is the State of Michigan's rule, not mine...but from browsing eBay $10 is probably the cheapest temp-tag of any state and you will be able to drive your car immediately and legally. In Michigan, all cars sold over 10 years old are marked as mileage exempt in accordance with Federal law. Basically, this means that the State stops keeping track of mileage on older cars, however Autocheck still does track the mileage and this vehicle is not known to have any mileage inaccuracies or discrepancies.
