1972 Datsun 240Z 12141 Miles This Datsun 240Z was purchased from the original owner who lives in Spartanburg SC. It has always been a South Carolina car and is still located near Spartanburg. Early in it’s life a sun roof was installed…… that was a cool thing back in the 70s.______________________________________________________ The car was finally semi-retired and in 2012 after many years in storage the original owner finally decided that it was time to get the car road ready once again. Unaware of how extensive of work was needed, a local export specialist was given the pleasure to deliver on the mechanical work. After all the work was completed the bill tallied up to over $8000.00. Work included: *Rebuilt Distributor* *New Fuel Pump* *Rebuilt Carburetor’s* *Brake work- (shoes, wheel Cylinders, brake hoses, master cylinder) * *Front Stabilizer Bushings* *Adjust Valves and Valve Cover Gaskets* *Voltage Regulator* *Recondition Fuel Tank* *New Belts and Hoses******I have all the paper work and receipts on the work that was done*****_____________________________________________ At present the car runs good but is in need of a Brake Booster.Other than that: The engine runs great, the car stops good and straight but a little hard on the pedal, the trans shifts nice and firm, and the car handles great.__________________________________________________ The body has some minor rust on the rocker panels and some areas on the undercarriage…. but compared to most vintage foreign cars..... it is in good shape. The paint is checked on the flat surface but is good on the sides. The interior is all original and not bad.
