This Mustang is being relisted because the original auction winner (trolo926) reported that "his kid brother submitted the bid on his account and neither he nor his brother had the funds to purchase it." As a result of this bad experience I may request some bidders to contact me by phone to confirm they are serious buyers. Please do not be offended if I make this request. There is still NO RESERVE! NO RESERVE! RARE 1966 FORD MUSTANG FASTBACK. Titled in NC. Disassembled and in good condition for restoring. Body, suspension, wheels, and differential included along with most major body parts. Other parts include, but are not limited to: power steering pump, all four original style hubcaps, some original interior parts (window regulators, gauges, glove box door, etc.), padded dash (excellent shape), non-original high-back front seats, rear seat (padded part). All glass is intact (side windows, wings, front and back glass). Newly rebuilt 302 engine and newly rebuilt automatic transmission are available for purchase separately. Answers to previous questions: There is no detectable exterior rust and very little interior surface rust other than front part of inner wheel wells (can be repaired rather than replaced). The paint is not horrible other than overspray on the trunk, but I would repaint it. Minimal body work necessary (no dents, etc.) Frame rails, factory torque box areas and floor pans are solid. There is no door data tag (you can order one from Marti). If bids reach or surpass BIN: I will provide new gauge bezel, some miscellaneous new parts (side mirrors, tail lenses, door handles, wiper motor, shifter indicator, etc.), original style outside side louvered vents with corresponding inside vent panels, and a folding back seat. Car is packed up with parts and ready to ship with front and rear glass taped in place. Those interested in newly rebuilt 302 engine and C4 transmission: These items are still at the performance engine company that did the work. Price will depend on whether or not you want carb and dyno services. I have spec sheet on the engine for those interested.
