Vehicle Detail
1971 Camaro Z28 Tribute (Base Camaro) See it live on YouTube: https://youtu.be/_9zXL9L9V1s Body/Exterior/Structure Super solid structure with what appears to be the original quarters, rockers, fenders and doors. Very little body filler in rear lower quarters and rocker area in front of wheels and bottom corner of doors. Floors, frame and trunk are all solid with no known holes. Bottom of the doors are super solid. Only one spot of rust which is shown in the photos and is on the lower driver's side door and the door seam. There is a chip in the middle of the passenger door (about .250") and there is a chip a the edge of the passenger door where it meets the fender (on the edge, and about .750" long by .125" approx.). Both are touched up with the original paint, but do show. Driver's quality Paint with normal chips and scratches shines well. Engine/Transmission/Drive Train Very strong engine. Completely built with a cam, solid lifters and performance pistons (over $6,000). Serpentine belt set-up was installed to replace the outdated v-belt system. Runs and drive extremely strong. Rear end is a 10 bolt. Air shocks are installed in the rear with standard shocks on the front. New gas tank and newer exhaust. New 18" wheels and tires. Interior Interior is presentable. The door panels are scratched and chipped in some cases, the driver's side seat is split in the seat panel and there are numerous small cracks in the front seats. The stereo is inoperable as well as the windshield wipers and heater blower motor. Windshield and Rear Window is fogged some around the edges. Interior lights do not work. New weatherstripping. General Car runs super strong and is ready to drive now. However, I would go thru the lighting (headlights, taillights, turn signals, dash/courtesy/dome lights, etc) to make sure they are working. The car would make a great toy to cruise or could be a super track SCCA Car. I am listing the car for a close friend, and have done the best I can to accurately represent the condition of the car. The car is being sold as is, where is and there is no warranty of any kind - written, expressed or implied otherwise. We will work with the buyer's shipping carriers to accommodate pick up after payment in full.On Jun-07-17 at 07:10:00 PDT, seller added the following information: Also, has Right Stuff four (4) wheel slotted disc brake set-up with new brake booster and master cylinder. On Jun-07-17 at 07:14:13 PDT, seller added the following information: Engine is new with under 500 miles since a complete rebuild, and the transmission was rebuilt as well.On Jun-11-17 at 12:47:11 PDT, seller added the following information: Transmission is a 350 turbo that has been rebuilt with a shift kit (over $2,500 build cost)On Jun-12-17 at 17:52:31 PDT, seller added the following information: The owner confirmed the details of the engine/drive train with the builder today: GM 350, 4-bolt main, .040" bore, ported and polished camel hump heads 1.5 gold Crane roller rockers, Crane solid lift 570 lift comp roller steel billet cam, Australian double roller timing chain, Chevy X-Rods 350 1010 crank 40 over forged pistons, Crane push rods, heavy valve spring screw in studs, high pressure Melling oil pump. 3:13 posi rear end, B&M Torque Master 3000 stall convertor, high energy clutch kit 350 turbo transmission.
