One would be hard pressed to find another 1974 CB550k like this. Up for bids and sold to the highest bidder with no reserve is this 1974 Honda CB550k. First year for the CB550k Four. All original with clear Ohio title, notarized and ready to go. This machine runs very well. Starts right up with electric or kick start. No unusual smoke or leaks. Runs very well and shifts through the gears with no problems. Ive ridden this machine around town about 50 miles and is a lot of fun. Carburetors rebuilt. New battery. Rebuilt master cylinder and front brake caliper. Seat looks good with no rips and is a older recover. Chrome looks nice. Still shines nicely. Fenders look nice. The gas tank is the original Flake Sunrise Orange paint. The inside of gas tank is very nice. Paint has only very very slight fade on top and 1 small scratch. Side cover look nice. The right cover has a small piece missing which is hard to notice. The exhaust is original with some light surface rust. Still sounds very nice with no leaks or holes. The right upper pipe has some light scratches. All of the electronics appear to work. Both gauges work as does the odometer, trip odometer and gauge lights. All indicator panel lights work as does horn. Turn signals work. Tail light and brake light work. The headlight works on hi and low as does high beam indicator. This is a nice, original and unrestored machine. Its only original once. I bought this as a long term investment but my interests have changed so it is available to the highest bidder. Ive spent a lot of time to describe what I know about the bike and its overall condition. It may or may not have problems known to me. It may need work in the future as is associated with a machine of this age. Please ask any questions.
