Original cab used as a templateRuckstell Rear End My dad's never officially completed the build book for this restoration. However, here is a handwritten note describing the work he did: " [100] years old. Truck was imported from Oaklahoma. Was in storage in Cal. for 20 years. I purchased the truck from the widower & proceeded to rebuild copy of the original cab in white oak. All hardware wa remade in stainless steel. Running gear was rebuilt. New bearings throughout the rear end & oil seals. New u-joints, 4th main bearing, new shafts & seals . . . total rebuilt hogs head. New bands, new breaks and new pins & linkage. New ??? & shim on rods. Head gastket, cooling fan bushing replaced with ball bearings. Out side oiler crank bushing replaced along with all worn bushings & pins. New front end king pins & bushings. Rebuilt water pump with ss shaft. All new wiring thoughout. 12 volt batter installed. New coils. Functional cowl lamp (oil burning), new coil box. Aftermarket accessories, extra break lever & reverse paddle ext., new 3 row radiator core, functional motor meter, running mag., no starter motor. 2 speeds fwd & Rukstell 2 speed worm drive. Black leather tufted seats. Solit Rubber rear tires. New front tires." Please give 24 hours notice prior to viewing.
