Up for bids and sold to the highest bidder with no reserve is this 1976 Honda CB550k. Survivor. All original with clear Ohio title, notarized and ready to go. Appears complete and all original. This machine runs very well. Starts right up with electric or kick start. No unusual smoke or leaks. Runs very well and shifts through the gears with no problems. Ive ridden this machine around town about 50 miles and is a lot of fun. Carburetors rebuilt with new Honda floats. New spark plugs and recent oil change. Rebuilt master cylinder and front brake caliper. Seat has no rips. Chrome looks good for driver quality with some light surface rust and pitting. Still shines nicely though. Front fender original with some denting on top. The gas tank has the original Candy Garnet Brown paint. Again, driver quality with some staining and fade to green on top as is common with these machines. The edge trim on gas tank is loose. Some scratches and minor dings. Some might call it patina being 42 years old and still original. The inside of gas tank is nice. Tires hold air but should probably be replaced as they may be the originals. Front appears original and feels like it may have a flat spot. The machine can be ridden but I wouldn't go very far or very fast. The exhaust is original and has some surface rust mainly on backside. Still sounds very nice with no leaks or holes. The electronics appear to work. Both gauges work as does the odometer and trip odometer and gauge lights. All indicator panel lights work as does horn. Turn signals work 90% of time as does tail light. I suspect a loose or corroded wire. The headlight works on hi and low as does high beam indicator. The machine sat for over 10 years prior to my acquisition. It has some surface rust on the edges and is not perfect but driver quality. Its only original once. I bought this as a light project but my interests have changed so it is available to the highest bidder. Ive spent a lot of time to describe what I know about the bike and its overall condition. It may or may not have problems known to me. It may need work in the future as is associated with a machine of this age. Please ask any questions.
