Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my cherished 2002 Mercedes G-500. I bought this vehicle with about 80,000 miles on it from an insurance auction where it was reported stolen and soon after recovered. So up front you must know that the title does have a mark from this Theft and Recovery. Please do not let this scare you away, this G wagon has been cared for. Because I did not know the maintenance history I completely went through the vehicle, changed the oil in the engine, front and rear differential, transfer case, transmission (to the Mercedes Tech Manual Specs), Spark Plugs, Brake Fluid, Locker System Flush, Coolant and a few other small items. This was a very thorough inspection and service. Really I found nothing wrong with the vehicle. Since then I have driven it 45,000 miles over 3 years and it has been an absolute pleasure. The vehicle drives excellent, looks great, and is nearly like new inside. The way you see the G-500 is the way it has been driven every day. Always kept spotless clean. Everything on this vehicle is factory, all fluids are OEM Spec, and it has only received OEM replacement parts. I did upgrade the tires to what I felt were a better option than the factory replacements. The tires have over 50% tread left (I believe 15,000 miles on them) and the brakes with new rotors/pads were also done at that time. The air conditioning blows ice cold, the heat works great, and the heated seats front and rear work excellent. I did have the rear bumper re-painted as it was scratched from reversing into something (or) someone bumped into the back of it. I added the trailer hitch and wiring with OEM Parts. Really I have no complaints for the vehicle and would absolutly drive it anywhere. This spring I went through it again (differential fluids, grease, transfer case oil, upgraded to the newer transfer case shift motor and control unit, serpintine belt and pulley) just as a service. Everything works in the vehicle as it should. The 6 disc CD player unit was removed before I got the car and I have never purchased one. You can use the single CD player in the head unit. I have taken very good care of this truck and would like to pass it onto someone with a similar interest. It should not need any major or even minor service as I have done it all. I take a lot of pride in the G-500 and I know the new owner will too. The vehicle gets so many good comments and people sure look at it! International shipping, Delivery in the USA, or Local Pick Up are all options that I am willing to assist the buyer in, but of course the delivery costs are the buyer's responsability. The title does say "previously salvaged" but it is owned free and clear with no loans. Upon cleared payment ownership will simply be passed over. I will require a $1000 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of sale. Complete purchase price paid within 24 hours by ACH, Wire Transfer, Certified Check, Cash, or PayPal (fees at Buyer's expense) I absolutly stand by all statements I have made about the vehicle and you are welcome to come inspect it. Due to the nature of selling a used car and that I am not a dealer, I do not offer financing or a warranty. This vehicle is sold AS-IS with out a warranty.
